Teaching work Philosophy:
I believe the actor needs to develop and understand how he or she works and how to approach a role in order to develop a character that incorporates all the aspects of a human being: the heart, the body and the mind. I see the class as an ensemble and within the ensemble are very unique individuals that have specific ways in which they see a role. I look at how to best serve the actor so that the actor can further develop their creative insight into character development. All classes focus on technique with practical application. We work on the artistry, but we also look at the reality of what each student wants for their future and what they need to know in order to make the leap from school to pursuing the acting profession full-time.
