Roxane M. Byrne
Roxane Maiko Byrne is the Student Program Advisor for the Center of Equity and Social Justice (CESJ). Roxane holda a Master's in Clinical Psychology, another Master's in Human Development, and is working on completing her PhD in Human Development with an emphasis on race, identity, and belonging. She anticipates completing her degree in 2020 and looks forward to sharing her research. Roxane was a student at SBCC in the early 90's and has worked in various roles as an instructor, personal counsleing intern, and staff member at the college that she loves. Roxane is passionate about building an environment of inclusion and belonging that allows for stong connections and fosters a brave space to explore difficult topics such as racism, inequity, oppression, and privilige.
